Day Work
Three jobs go up on the Day Work board every day. They are not new activities — every one of them asks for something you can already do somewhere else in the game. Sell some product, pull a few jobs, take a couple of blocks, sit down at a table for a while.
They exist so that opening the game never starts with deciding what to open next.
How it works
- Progress counts everything you did today, whether or not you had the board open. Work first and check later if you like; it will all be there.
- Jobs pay the moment you finish one and come back to the board. There is nothing to claim and nothing to lose by not looking — the money waits.
- Payouts are dirty cash, plus a little Respect.
- One swap a day. If a job wants something you have no interest in doing, trade it for a different one. The swap always gives you something that is not already on the board.
- A job you have finished cannot be swapped, and finishing everything does not unlock a fourth. Three is three.
Streaks
Clear the whole board in a day and you start a streak. Every day of it adds a percentage to the cash on every job you finish afterwards, up to a ceiling.
Miss a day and the streak goes back to zero. That is the entire penalty — you keep every dollar, every point of Respect and everything you have ever earned. Nothing you own is on a timer.
